People get THEIR tonsils removed when they get tonsilitis. Usually the adenoids come out at the same time.
Many adults still have them - I'm one of them.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Mine were removed because I was too young (4 or 5) to know what was going on. I know I was having no problems that would justify their removal. This was in 1950.

If they get tonsilitis alot, or sometimes your tonsils will swell and effect your breathing.

Usually if they have chronic tonsilitis, they doctor will recommend having them out so this will no longer occur!

It's not a question of why,but because they get inflamed and swollen. This big lump appears on the side of your neck. I got mine removed when I was seven.

i had to have mine removed because i had strep and i aam allergic to the mediceince and it couldnt be treated
