I clean about an hour a day. If you keep on top of it, then it really doesn't become a chore, it becomes a lifestyle.

I tidy up every day, that usually takes about 45 minutes. That includes making the beds, wiping down the bathroom with a couple of clorox wipes, picking up toys, a run through with the swiffervac. I do regular cleaning every saturday, where I shake out all of the throw rugs, deep clean the bathroom & Kitchen, change the bedding, vacuum the carpeting, mop the floors, dust the furnature, sweep & damp-mop the hardwood it take me about 2-3 hours, then every couple of months or so i move all of the furnature to the middle of thier rooms clean the trim molding, scrub &/ or paint the windowsills wash the walls etc, that takes all day...

What I do is clean a room or two each day, that way I don't spend an entire Saturday cleaning. Total hours - 6 .

about 2 hours to clean the kitchen, living & dining rooms & straightening the bathrooms. But if I have to scrub the tubs & do laundry, it seems to take forever.

It takes me about 4 hours to clean the whole place top to bottom(like I do on weekends). The trick is to clean up after yourself through the week. Then, the house is not that bad for your weekend cleaning.

Yeah, me too. I keep it pretty tidy, so my cleaning would consist of deep cleaning. Then about every 3 months I shampoo the carpet for about an hour and a half.
