Hangover Cures
Hair of the dog – Some folks advocate having a small alcoholic beverage soon after waking. While it is true that this will stop the pain – the relief is only temporary. As soon as the alcohol passes the hangover will be back.
Re-hydrate – Start off the morning with a big glass of water, Pedialite or Gatorade.
Eat something light – Eat something easy to digest like toast, crackers, or oatmeal. Foods that are touted for their properties as hangover cures are:
Menudo
Bananas
Apples
Miso Soup
Honey (in tea or on toast)
V8
Pickles and/or pickle juice (yummmm)
Green Tea
Take a pain-reliever – Read the label carefully first, and make sure all alcohol is out of your system. Some recommended for curing a hangover are:
Acetaminophen (Tylenol)
Ibuprofen
Alka-seltzer Morning Relief
“Chaser”
Take a multivitamin
Shower, eat light, drink water, and go back to bed
Exercise! – Probably the last thing you want to do, but some mild exercise will get your heart and lymphatic system pumping, moving out waste products that have built up from the night before. This will increase your metabolism, release endorphins (natural pain-killers), and re-oxygenate your blood. Eat some carbs and protein afterwards

I have found that the best thing to prevent a hangover is a product called ru21, they are a dietry supplement from the states but you can buy them on ebay or in boots (they are legal and safe) you take them before you start drinking sometimes during depending how long will be drinking for and you take a couple afterwards. they don't stop you from getting drunk or make you any drunker but they metabolise the alcohol quicker. Therefore the alcohol breaks down quicker and you don't feel so rough in the morning!!! They are absolutely fantastic, I swear by them and so do all of my friends now.

The headache is from dehydration. Take two aspirin with two 12 oz. glasses of water. To prevent a hangover, before going to bed take the aspirin with the two glasses of water. Works every time. Drink water throughout the day to flush the toxins out and hydrate.

as i am having one today i did my old method. when the stomach is not able to receive anything heavier then vegetables than first eat them, especially fruit (lemons) to get you vitaminbalance back up. a lot of water helps too. no coffee, just destorys the stomach even more. than have a really greasy meal for lunch, first of all you think you will vomit, but after a while everything will be as before.

in germany many ppl use this "medicine": after a really drinky night, drink a beer in the next morning, and you will feel better. it works, but it may make you looking like an alcoholic. you have the choice.=)

The hangover cure I always use,and have passed on to others is to have a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice as soon as you get up,don't worry you don't have to get the juicer out in your delicate state,make sure you have a bottle of the shop bought one in the fridge

before you start drinking, eat anything that has starch, and drinl one full glass of water before you go to sleep,
The starch absorbs the acohol left behind in your somach, so you don't feel a hangover in the morning.

I dont get them anymore, years of learning had to go before this tho! the trick is to stop drinking alcohol at midnight and just drink water! but if you have absolutly no self control and you get wrecked i suggest you sleep for as long as possible, then get up and get to the pub for a fry up and a pint! yum!
