Spearhead? They are very good indeed! I first saw them at Glastonbury a few years ago with their main man Micheal Franti. I heard their CD Chocolate Supa Highway a few years ago and have followed them ever since. There are contemparies of the Fugees but are light years better. The Fugees are very sad by comparison. Micheal Franti has a very well developed social concience and is a UN cultural ambassador. He has just made a film of some of his Palestinian gigs, I hear it is very good.
