How can i find how many women live in my area?

I am doing some research on women in my area. I need to find out how many women there are in my area between the ages of 25 and 55.

You can check the census webpage. http://www.census.gov/ You will have to search around for the data.

There is also the American Community Survey link that has more recent data than the census. If I knew your community I could be of more service.
