purchased building in 1994 got behind on house payments and taxes lost source of income,was just notified of the amount it would take to catch up,how long do I have before they can evict me

I am not sure how long they have to give you the eviction notice but after you receive it, you usually have 30 days

In most states 30 days after the written notice of eviction regardless of how past due you are. The landlord can't just evict you at the drop of a hat they must give you written notice first and verbal isn't good enough.
