Douching disrupts the normal ph balance of your vagina and can cause infections. The vagina is self-cleaning and douching is not necessary.

If the "odor" is mild and not unpleasant, then get used to it; it's normal for women to have a scent. If it's strong, unpleasant, or accompanied by itching or abnormal discharge, you should see your doctor. You could have bacterial vaginitis or a yeast infection.

It is a solution, usually of water and vineger, that you spray up into your vagina. It is used to "clean" you on the inside, but it actually causes bacterial infections and yeast infection because it messes up your body's natural balance. Your body has it's own cleansing system. Doctor's recomment that you DO NOT use douche.

You shouldn't use it. Seriously ask a doctor they will tell you too. Douche was created by men who back in the day thought women were gross down there, but actually your body is clean, that's how we were made. It can also be medically bad for your body causing infections etc......So don't.PS...DOUCHING is basically squirting water/soapy crap solution up in your vagina. Not just washing your labia.

Douching is not an absolute necessity. There are tons of ads stating "clean and fresh" but the vagina cleanses itself. We all have a unique smell but it should not be unpleasant or foul smelling. If you have a new or unusual smell or discharge, you should see a gynecologist.

Do not douche. It will clean your vaginal area, but it will also get rid of all the good bacteria that helps prevent yeast infections and other nasty infections. Do NOT douche. Just use soap and water.

Ive used them but my gyno told me not to.. they are suppose to cleanse the vagina you put it in and squeeze the liquid inside and then it runs out... the gyno told me that your body will clean itself and that the bactrera that your body produces is washed away when you douche so i would suggest not to do it!

It's to clean you out. It isn't recommended. But if your going to do it, keep it to a minimum. Like don't do all the time. It can dry you out. I've never heard of it causing infections. I don't think it's that dangerous.
