Take it to a tire shop and they will remove the nail and patch the tire if at all possible. I had to do this a couple of months ago and it cost less than 20 bucks. It's really quick too, under half an hour!

Yes it can be fixed. You could just put a plug in it but that may cause the layers to separate down the road. The best way is to take it to a tire shop and they will take the tire off the rim and put a boot in it. The best ones look like a tire patch with a rubber stem in the middle. The stem would be pulled through the hole the nail caused and the patch will be glued to the inside of the tire. This is considered a permanent repair and should last for the life of the tire. It shouldn't cost more than 10 or 12 dollars. good luck and enjoy life as you motor down the hiways and biways.

Take it to a tire shop, they'll remove the tire and patch the hole. Plugs are not a viable fix anymore due to failure problems. Total fix should be less than $25. The shop should also check the pressure and give the other tires the once over.
Good luck!

Depending upon how big the nail is (hole size) you may or may not be able to patch/plug it yourself. You could try a plug kit and see if it holds but I wouldn't mess with it if it is in the front tires --- I would definitely go to the tire shop and have them patch it from the inside.

Yes you need to take it out and plug it!! Take it to a tire shop they don't charge much to do it!! But if the nail is on the side of the tire or close to the side it is no good to plug the tire!! Because the plug can come out !! So if it is on the side you need a new tire!!! That is what most tire shops are going to say!! But you can take the change of plugging it!!

You can buy a kit or bring it in to a tire place to do it. They can fix it up for you depending on where the nail went in.

a can of fix a flat should do the trick. But if the puncture is near the inner tube, the tire may need to be replaced
