I feel guilty all the time - As i'm not allowed to use the internet on my work PC - but do it anyway and since all the PC's are connected through a server. Just don't wanna get caught! what can i do to ensure that the IT guys who sit right on the top floor of this huge building has no idea what i'm doing?

The best thing to do is your job, after all they do pay you for performance. Know that the IT guys are probably getting a laugh about this question. Don't be surprised when they decide enough is enough, talk to you about it or fire you for not following instruction
at work. Is free access worth your job? Go figure what it's worth to you!
The library has computers you can log on to or you could get your own service at home or celluar phone. Bear in mind that the internet is like the front page of a newspaper someone can read it.
You can be traced this day in time no way around it.

Your company probably records everything everyone does through the server. If your work comes into question, they will check the server records to see what you have been spending your time doing.

They may not know right now, but it is only because they haven't looked.

Sorry but If you are in a network in an office environment and you login to the network the admins have the ability to monitor your work.

I would recomend connecting through the net through a personal wirless device or through some other way(ie satellite, phone jack, broadband....).

Just change it and make the password super hard and write it down so you don't forget it and keep the paper in a safe place

If your IT department has any clue at all, there's no way to do that. They know when you're logged on and can find out exactly what you are doing at any given moment.

If your company monitors employee use, you WILL get caught; there's no way to avoid it.

The best way is to just stop doing it.

you cannot.

ask permission to use the pc for personal use, on your own time.
if you're browsing , you're probably not doing your job, which is the bigger issue for your employer.
