I have no problem washing my pillow, but is it even possible? Won't the machine and/or the pillow get ruined?

Yes, and just throw it in the dryer. I do that a lot,,,especially in the summertime when heads sweat.

Can You Wash A Pillow

It depends on the pillow. If it has feather or down filling, you can wash it and let is hang dry until the feather plump up again (your pillow will look like a sack of sand when it is wet but it will plump up. If it has some other loose fill in it, it should keep its shape or need a little plumping, however, if it filled with a square or rectabngle bag with the contents in it, then you might find it has turned around in the casing and it is difficult to it turned back and you are going to end up with a mishaped pillow.

no I do it all the time. In hot water, depending on your washer be careful not to overfill it. Stuff it right down so it doesn't hit the top. If you have an agitator, put another pillow on the other side to even it out. Fill machine and stuff again to make sure they are right down. I put one in once and the bottom of the lid cut the pillow open. It was an 80 dollar repair man fix. All the fluff went into the works. I wouldn't wash feather ones, take those to the dry cleaners. Have a great day.

yes you can wash your pillow do you still have the tag attached to the pillow there should be directions on it , check there first. just throw it in the machine with warm water & detergent make sure you balance the load out i use a couple of bath towels. i usually spin dry a second time to get more water out. then put in the drier.your pillow should be fine. good luck.

My granddaughter threw up last week on a pillow so I stuffed that and the sheet into the wash machine. I had to hit the rinse cycle twice to get more of the water out.

Threw it into the dryer and it came out great. I had nothing to lose

Washing just one pillow may make the spin cycle go crazy. I always wash two matching pillows to fill the wash basin evenly and then the spin cycle goes smoothly.

If it is a foam pillow you can safely wash and dry it. If it's feathers washing it will cause a big mess.

it wont get ruined unless it's an extremely old pillow that can fall apart
