In addition to the other suggestion that you have received talk to the financial aid office at your school. They may be aware of other government grants and or scholarships for college.

Fill out your FAFSA, and send it to the school of your choice. The school will then give you your award letter. You have to be really poor to get the grants. If your parents make a lower middle to middle income and above, you'll only get loans.
