and i was wondering if anyone knew around how much a first time author of romance novels earn?? and what are the best publishers??

Depends on you writing. Really it's hard to break into the market. but first time writers often don't make much from their books, unless it's a wildly popular book. If you can get a publisher to take your book, you can expect around 10-30% net back on your books. It's much easier to get into the book market by writing and having stories published in magazines first. that establishes you as a writer and will lend credit to your attempts to get a book published. Another was is to self publish, but that can be tedious and expensive. You might submit it to hallmark and harlequin. Maybe even write Emails to your favorite authors and see if they can give you and tips/help. Authors are often kindred spirits.

i admire Lisa Kleypas! i might advise those authors and books defiantly: The Ascesion series and The Knight series by skill of Gaelen Foley The Malory series by skill of Johanna Lindsey Bride and Ransom by skill of Julie Garwood Whitney, my love and Kingdom of desires by skill of Judith McNaught those are my favorites! additionally another Lisa Kleypas books are great!
