my friend is going through the same thing with trying to get pregnant. She was on the pill for a very long time and its been a year for purging her system. She was 37 when she started to try, so age is obviously a factor. She ended up get tested to see if she had a good supply of egg production/release/falopian tube normal. It turned out that it was her husband's problem, not hers. His sperm didn't produce enough good sperm to penetrate the egg. Check with your OB/GYN if this is something of interest to you. They can direct you to a specialist, especially if you still aren't conceiving. BTW: it's okay to not be married yet and try to get pregnant. These things take time and it's frustrating for both of you. Only you know how strong your bond with your partner is and no one should judge you on your decision to have a child because of your marital status.

I have had friends that have gotten pregnant their first month off birth control. If I were you I would wait another 3 days and take another test or go buy one of the more sensitive tests. I got a positive at 10dpo. If you are not preggo just try to give it a little time it will happen. I know that waiting sucks.Good Luck!!!!!!!!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your fiance to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your fiance to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Get married first. Seriously, it's not going to look good having your child running around at your wedding or having everyone's attention on the baby instead of the bride and groom. Get married, have a honeymoon, spend a few years enjoying your new husband, then have kids. It's a good order of doing things--too bad people don't seem to care about it anymore.

Your fiance, huh? A baby deserves to come into this world with committed parents who have taken a vow to love and protect each other and him. After they are married, they save and plan for a baby so that he can have a roof over his head, food, clothing, and medical expenses covered. They have planned ahead so that there is money saved for his education. Otherwise you have no business having a baby.

Is it a new rage to get pregnant before getting married? I don't get it...I understand accidents before marriage, but trying? Just get married and save your kid the wondering if he was the cause of your marriage.
