I know that quitting slows your metabolism down, and last time i quit I gained about 5 lbs, without eating any more than usual. Any Natural way?

Quitting doesn't slow your metabolism down. it's the withdrawal symptoms that some people use food to try to eliminate that causes them to gain weight... That added to the fact that food starts to taste better shortly after quitting smoking...

If you want to avoid gaining weight, pick up your activity level whenever you have the urge to smoke... jog, run, walk, bike, anything that gets you moving.....

Do you exercise? If you simply get smart snacks like celery and carrots the weight is less likely to increase. Exercise at least 20 minutes a day. When you want a cigarette, get out of your routine. Go do something. I have been off of the smokes for a year one month and 2 days. I did not gain weight because I was given the advice listed above. I gave up my morning coffee for about 6 months because I associated the coffee with smoking. Drink plenty of fluids and avoid sodium. Decrease your carbohydrate intake and increase your protein intake. Keep at it. It is tough, but it can be done.
