From my base understanding CHINA does not want to engage N.Korea nor does S.Korea. They want to work it out until they absolutely have no choices. China doesn't want sanctions either (i think) SOOOOO!!!!! (China is very powerful apparently).
If the US really was about WMD stoppage, then Iran and N. Korea would have been attacked LONG before Iraq. I mean, they aren't even denying anything and never have.
In the coming years, N. Korea and Iran are going to be major Scary problems. Maybe a realer version of the cold war (i never feared Russia sending a bomb over but I do from NKorea and Iran.)

...because that would be horrible foreign policy. Not only would this action put America in more danger by producing more enemies, especially from South Korea and China, think how many innocent lives would be lost?
