I do not believe so. I have had the Mirena since 2004 and I love it. The cramping should subside within the week. Try taking something for the cramping OTC like Motrin or Tylenol.
It is highly possible that you were a little nervous having sex for the first time with your IUD which affected your orgasm. Try it again, and again! You will soon feel free with no worries and the orgasm will be F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S again.
The best thing about the Mirena for me............is no period!

i ought to have my Mirena IUD for 5 years in August. you shouldn't be frightened in any respect. After a pair of year your classes develop into very far aside (as much as 3 months and could in easy terms final some days) they have an inclination to be darker brownish blood in the beginning up and then the brighter crimson... yet each so often in easy terms the brownish shade. I asked and asked because of the fact i assumed it develop into weird and wonderful, yet they reassured me that it is common and for tremendously much 5 years I certainly have had the top comparable concern as you're describing at cases and no little ones. intercourse would reason get issues "shifting" at cases... Edit: many of the time i can't locate my string and the 1st annual examination after having it located my physician could no longer locate it the two so she did an ultrasound and it develop into there, because of the fact the string has reappeared and all is powerful. while uncertain take a being pregnant try, yet being pregnant with the IUD is amazingly uncommon as is it dislodging without you understanding that it got here out, nevertheless some people do expel theirs without their understanding. A neglected era with the IUD isn't uncommon in any respect, cramping isn't uncommon, brown blood isn't uncommon and not being waiting to locate the string isn't uncommon, i in my view do no longer think of you will desire to be frightened, yet take a try to be optimistic. Your classes should not be huge-unfold with the Mirena and could tremendously plenty be non-existent after the 1st year with it in. because of the fact it does reason this kind of drastic shrink on your classes i could in my view be extra frightened a pair of everyday huge-unfold era than the shortcoming of one as this could point out that the IUD is lost. a speedy medical doctors appointment or being pregnant try will a hundred% placed your techniques relaxed!

You will have some cramping because of the IUD, it's a foreign object inside your uterus and the muscles will try to expel it. Your periods will also heavier, it may take a couple of cycles for the body to adapt. Some women who never had cramps, have them with using an IUD. You have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages for using the IUD with what works for you. Good luck!!
