well, i would go for the answer which is most detailed and
most clear to the asker.
no doubt, some of the answers are very long and very detailed.
however, it can be so detailed to the point whereby it gets very
difficult to understand and might even go way out of point.
remember, long answer doesn't mean best answer.
it's completely up to the asker, really.

That's strictly subjective. Try putting them in order of importance and clarity. Surely one is a little better that the other and so on. Just like this answer. I'm sure you'll pick it because of my source.
