The song is from the 60's, or 70's I think. I am not sure who it is singing it. But it goes something like Time, Time. It was for a commercial for a show on NBC, and played at the beggining of Supernatural. I think the band singing it may be the Rolling Stones but not sure. Thanks for the input.

Goes something like, "Time as come today. The rules have changed today. I have no place to stay."

this is initially from Mad Max...Thunderdome, i think of. I do seem to vaguely take into consideration it being linked to a television tutor, yet all I shop arising with is Mad Max. seems i've got been corrected by using Footloose. Are ya'll particular it wasn't Mad Max? It replaced into no longer the superb American Hero nonetheless. That replaced into William Kat's goofy superman-form tutor, and the music to it replaced into "have faith it or no longer, i'm walking on air. I never concept i could experience so loose. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could this is? have faith it or no longer, this is basically me." i'm uncertain eho sang that one, in spite of the undeniable fact that it looked like BJ Thomas. He did the music for family individuals Ties too. Or replaced into it the Kirk Cameron and Alan Thicke family individuals? besides, thank you for the flashback nonetheless!
