If I download AV free do I have to turn off my sbc protection?

I think I need a more powerful virus protection and avfree has been recommended. But I've heard you can't run two at the same time so do I just turn the sbc off when I'm running an av check? Also do I have to put it in safr mode to use the av and how do I do this? Thanks

yes disable other antivirus programs before installing. and do a scan right away. AVG FREE is good and fast so if you like it you can uninstall other antvirus software. If you dont like it throw it away and enable your old protection.
