Although i'm only a softmore in high school.... I would like to know how a veterinarian gets started, if you have to start your own business, how much do you make a year. I believe I can handle all the stress, but I would have no idea how to start off. How do you become employed.. do you start your own business or do you work w/ someone else. I sound hectic but nobody's even been able to answer my question. Thank you so much.

This is a wide range of answers. Where I live, out in the Rural Areas many interested with this field work during summer and some during the School year with a local Veterinarian. May be little things at first, but, if they show a desire, many of the Vets here help them get started. I have known many who helped the young person through College then Hired them and after they gained experience helped them start their own Business. But, this how "Country Folk" do that love their work and not worry about competition.

It truthfully depends upon the vet, the enjoy and the train. I realize my vet makes lovely well cash but it surely took him awhile to get there. He mentioned the primary 10-15 years had been primarily tough b/c he cared so deeply approximately the animals part the time if the landlord could not come up with the money for the protection or the invoice he is take the animal off of the homeowners hand alternatively in the event that they needed him to. I believe he mentioned whilst he first began on his possess he wound up with 12 horse four cows a few goats and approximately 6 puppies...... all b/c the orginal homeowners could have as a substitute surrendered them than pay the costs. I realize one vet that also makes well cash, however he nonetheless takes in animals whilst humans camn't affor dhis costs. It's well that you just wish to do ti for the affection of the animals and no longer the cash. Just be ready to not make a complete lot the primary few years as a result of paying scholar loans and the complete new vet factor that looks to have an impact on close to all vets .... the animal for the invoice lol

it's never to soon to start planning your future.you've got the right idea but you need to slow down.how much a vet. makes depends entirely on the vet. His/her interaction with his patients &thier owners means alot.Your reputation and how you handle yourself can make or break any business. Right now you should concern yourself with school.Take as many AP classes as you can and do your very best because you know your going to collage. When you finish school they won't just throw you out into the world,by then you will have regular contact with vets. and things will fall in place for you.I forgot the most important thing- don't forget to get certified!!!
