I hit 16 on Sunday, and i have booked an appointment at my local piercing studio. I have my left ear pierced at the top and bottom, and right, just at the bottom.

I really want something else pierced (hence why i booked ...) but because i am only 16, and have no consent, will i only be able to get my ears done again? or is there anything else i can get done?

I have considered my arm, and my eyebrow, but my mom is completely against these ideas. Any ideas as to what i could get pierced at 16 without consent, or how i could persuade my mom to let me get it done.

Thanks!!

If you get anything done, make sure it can be covered up.

Many employers are averse to visible piercings and tattoos, especially if it's a public facing position becuase the general public find it threatening or are uncomfortable with it.
Other say that it does not "bring the air of professionalism" required for the position.

The above usually applies to anything other than floorsweeping or shelf stacking type jobs.

At 16 you can get a lot of things pierced without parental concent, it depends where you go to get pierced. But I know a lot of piercing places that won't touch 16-year-olds with a barge pole.
Personaly, I suggest that you wait a while until you get more piercings, and because you are asking for help of what to get done it sounds like you're just piercing for the sake of it. Imagine when you're 80-something and you have your whole body (just exaggerating) pierced. How cool are you going to look, Eh? It's the same with tattoos, don't just get them done for the sake of having them done, as you get older they look Not-so-good. When your skin grows, the piercings can get moved, and that really does Not look nice. (Especially if you get streched skin around the area of the piercing due to your skin is put under so much strain)

I will agree with Leonie on this one.

When we are old, we will be covered with sagging, black and blue tatooed skin with metal dangling lower and lower out of bigger and bigger holes every year that we age.

I think it is good to have a small tattoo for identification purposes, but in an inconspicuous place. Pierced ears are okay, but the rest is purely comical.

Having anything more than pierced ears just SHOUTS: "I have no intention of ever having a job".

some will do belly buttons, I was a piercer and would not pierce any under 18's, but that was because it was my own personal business and I did not want to get sued.

Arms aren't a great place for piercings to be honest.

You could try the, "look, I'm 16, old enough to have sex, smoke, leave home, I just want a piercing" routine.
