The average size of a newborn is 7 1/2 pounds and 21 inches long.
My girl was just 6 pounds 19 1/2 inches.

Anywhere from 5 1/2 to 10 lbs is considered normal. The average full term baby weighs between 7-8lbs.

There really is no average size of a new born baby its all in the genetic make up of the parents and within their family most birth weights range from 5lbs to over 10lbs for full term babies

Average use to be about 5-6 lbs now doctors prefere new borns to be about 7-8 lbs at birth...

7.5 pounds and 20 inches I think. My daughter was both of those right on the dot. She's just an average baby! ;)

7 lbs 8 oz is the UK average (apparently).
However, a healthy weight can be anywhere really from 6ish to 10ish pounds.

All baby's are different.My boyfreind's kids have all been between 7 and 10lbs.My daughter was 7lbs 14oz when she was born.I was about 5lbs6oz when I was born and my nephew was alittle over 4lbs.

anything from five half pound upto ten pound quite the norm and approx 56-60cm in length but we are all different and the genetics from both parents make a difference.

about 8lb nowadays saying that it really all depends on the parents all my kids were between 9lb and 10.5lbs. me and my husband are both 5ft 10
