No, I know alott of people who talk like that. They are so used to calling someone else that,that they forget and call everyone honey, sweetie, darling...
Especially those that work with little kids, and they use those names then it just catches and they call everyone that...
Also, never be offended if a chick calls you something sweet. Not like she said hey dirt bag...

No, that is a common term of endearment for most people from the south or those raised in a loving atmosphere. Now, if she was giving you a 'bedroom eyes' look, then be worried. But don't be offending, sometimes the world is TOO politically correct....

Of course not! Why would you? Some people just refer to people as honey or sugar or sweetheart because that is just the way they talk. I am a customer service operator for a major company and I find myself addressing my customers as dear all the time. It is unprofessional in a sense but for me it is a habit nothing personal.
