Yes I do. . .And it is also reassuring for both you and the one you're conversing with. The eyes are the windows of the soul. . .You would know if a person is sincere. . . .You could even actually communicate using only your eyes .
Some culture has it that focusing right into the eyes is a sign of disrespect (Japanese) so it is not necessarily signify bad breeding when one does this.
I do love looking into the eyes of whoever I talk to! People of genuine beauty do the same!

I do but I have discovered that for some reason it makes certain people uncomfortable. I live in the south and it seems the older white gentlemen don't like to make eye contact when speaking to a woman. I thought at first it was just black women but I've noticed more and more that it's just women in general. If they're not staring at your boobs, they look all around the room but never directly at you. I think there's something very sheisty about that.

Yes I do. It is always good to look someone in the eyes when you are talking to them , this way they know that they have your full attention and that you care about what they have to say.

I do. To me, it shows I am listening and interested in the person. However, we are learning a lot about this in communications class, and there are several cultures that believe that you should not look someone directly in the eye...that it is very disrespectful to do so.

I do for the most part. Not all of the time though. I've found that eye contact intimidates me, but it is necessary if you are talking to someone, so i must.
