The taxes take into consideration airport landing fees, fuel surcharges, state fees where applicable, airprt improvement fee, departure tax, arrival tax. ALl in all though for same date/destination the taxes should be the same.

Hi

I agree with the above but different airlines pay different landing fee etc so they may vary from airline to airline also the fees are quoted in US$ so it depends on the exchange rate when you book a flight

Agreed with the previous two entries. Fuel surcharges will also be different from airline to airline - it is up to the airline to decide how much of a fuel surcharge gets passed onto their customer.
