According to http://blog.stayaspensnowmass.com/archives/2005/10/index.html , last year the first snow fell in Aspen on October 5th.
As for this year, you'd better ask Mother Nature.

well my mom know's alot bout the world and she researches things she just sad October 4th but then agian she might be wrong but i'll stick with october 4th.
