The "ths" means part of and is plural.

One thousand: 1,000

One thousdand(th): 1/1000

So, eight thousdan(ths): 8/1000 or 1/125

Four and nine ten(ths):

4 9/10

or also known as 0.008
0.8 is 8 tenths
0.08 is 8 hundreths
0.008 is 8 thousanths or 8/1000.
It works backwards the same as it does forwards when you add the ths to then end...
