Theres this girl I know who wears so much foundation she looks like an orange. How do I tell her without hurting her feelings?

There is NO way to tell her without hurting her feelings. Most likely she knows already. Maybe the orange look is better than whats underneath the orange.

But if you want to help her out JUST tell her so she doesn't continue to look like a fool.
START IT OFF by saying...I think you would look more natural if you use a press powder after the foundation....
(But if you're just a guy friend...then it's going to sound gay)
So then get a blunt friend to tell her....

casual mention it to her.. jus mention like"dont you think you added to much of foundation, it will runied your skin if you have to much on " something like that.. good luck though:|
