You had to be of school age so anywhere between 5-14 I should imagine. Good luck with the homework :-)

I was 4 when I was evacuated from London (East End) to Midlem in The Borders.
I joined other children with my name label round my neck and my gas mask and a small bag. We all boarded the train and off we went - - into the unknown !

I just helped my little brother with exactly the same.
Mainly children - any age i think got evacuated but some adults too.

evacuated from what? There was no age limit on city evacuations, but it focused mainly on the young (1-13) and the elderly.

I think it was about 14 or 15 but if my grandad farted everyone WANTED to be evacuated

it was probably up to the age of about 15, as you were technically able to look after yourself after you were 16
