Try this free antivurus. I am working on cleaning my computer up right now from the Look2me Trojan Horse. http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 . I would recommend running this in safe mode and deleting everything it finds.

iexplore.exe IS Internet Explorer. It should be located in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

If you find a copy elsewhere -- such as in C:\Windows\System32, that could be a trojan or virus.

Start your machine in Safe Mode. Go to C:\Windows\System32 and delete any file named iexplore.exe. Restart your machine. You might get an error message on restart. Just dismiss it.

Then go into MSCONFIG and look for any startup items calling iexplore.exe and disable them.

Make sure that your McAfee is up-to-date. The currently known viruses using that vector have been around for several months and it should detect it easily if it's current.

The product you need is called SPYWARE DOCTOR you have to buy it , but it is well worth it. ($29.99) I just went through this myself last week. Norton didn't pick it up, McAvee didn't pick it up, AVG picked it up but coudln't do a damn thing about it. So get the Spyware Doc and it will be good for a eyar and already I have to say its the BEST antivirus program out there.... Good luck!

As soon as I paid for this and downloaded it my computer was completely virus free within 20 minutes...

iexplore.exe is internet explorer. Try closing your browser then you shouldn't see it in tskmanger. It isn't adware, spyware or a virus. Go here

and here http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/iexplore.exe.html
Do not listen to bengough69 his statements are total rubbish.

the best way is to alway have the anti-virus updated if you try to remove or block something that might not be a trojan it might make your computer unstable.
