Personally, I think they abuse college
players......excusing them from "studies",
giving them crap courses to take, and only
10% will ever even put a foot on an NBA court......what happens to the other 90%?
Naj is right, they should have more science
and technical scholarships for black kids
to aspire to..........pretty sad when the world holds up a game with a rubber ball as the most worthy thing one can aspire to

good points, Janey.....yes, universities
just use these kids for the most part, while
they know the odds are stacked against them..the kids build the athletic program and help recruit kids in general, and walk away with a degree in sandbox making...

Good question. Blacks are the only people who truly understand the game of basketball. Not only do they have the skill, but they also have the physical attributes as well.
In regards to your other comments, I think that it is very sad that Colleges & University put high imphasis on the Athletic Department. Alot kids are bribed by alumni & schools, but they are also given high standards of making the school a success in the sports department. In addition, these kids are able to "slide by" college courses and barely graduate from school without a decent grade point average. The worst thing is, alot of these kids can get hurt at any point and are then seen as irrevelvant people who can't help out the school.

I think the reason is because young men and boys see these adults playing this game and getting rich doing it. What they see is something that with practice they can also do. In every community there are outdoor basketball hoops many only half court but they are there and practice is going on all the time. I don't know if being real tall is a hereditary trait in the black community but it is definitely a help in basketball. I think these things are all factors.

Why is ice hockey 99.9% Caucasian? After listening to them talk during a press conference they didn't sound like scholars either.
Every racial argument can be turned around and reapplied.
Let's stop doing this...it's pointless and tacky.

because they are conditioned to think that once they are tall and black they should play basketball........so many scholarships for them to play basketball....but not one for math and science......
