What exactly do you want to know?
All patients are treated with respect for their individuality and culture.
We look after patients who are muslim and respect their religious practices - female nurses to look after female patients, diet and place to pray.

I had a muslim patient awhile back. All I really saw different was making sure she had her head covering. The other considerations you would need is to make sure her diet is pork free. I think their diet is the same as the Jewish kosher diet. The rest of the care was the same with her. Mainly also provide appropriate privacy, just as you would anyone else. There may be other differences. I just don;t know what they are.

of course, but they shouldn't be treated any different than any other patient. I have been to the accident and emergency ward and watched muslims walk in to see a doctor without waiting more than 10 minutes while an elderly man was sat bleeding from his head with no attention for over an hour- he eventually just got up and left. how sad.

What do you mean? Well, I'll try to answer this one: shouldn't everyone receive care when needed? I mean, I have my own personal opinions about the Muslim religion, but if I were a nurse or a doctor I would still CARE for them. Edit your question please.

No, I think not. The NHS is part of British culture and society and should only therefore be available to those who embrace our culture.
