Actually, yes...the dog did eat my homework, once. I had left my stuff on the kitchen table, and somehow the puppy got up there and.....there you go! I even took the pile of chewed papers to my teacher.....lol. And I have just used it as an excuse....but not too often!

I rarely did homework, but I provided no excuse. Plus, I never had a dog.

I never used that excuse because everyone else did. I used to think of more original excuses like, my little brother peed all over my homework, or i was abductd by aliens and didn't have time to do it.

Actually: YES!!
We lived on a farm, so we had several dogs. And I used to do my homework in the loft of the barn, or in the feed shed, and would sometimes have to do chores and forget and leave it, and I'll be darned..DOgs got it almost everytime!!
My teachers labeld me a liar from the jump...lol

Actually, she did the other night, We had to make something that could be used as physical education equipment with household stuff. I made a ball out of newspaper and masking tape. It wasn't 5 minutes later I found it in the mouth of my jack russell.

No, but once, in the long ago history of computers, I had a very rudimentary computer that I did two papers on, and the computer ate both of them. I had worked very hard, long into the night. It was very upsetting. I broke up with computers for many years after that.

no, but as an adult i use the excuse that the dogs ate my bills....(sometimes i pour a little chicken broth over them to get the dogs interested...)

No, but my rabbit did. I tried to tell the teacher what happened. She didn't believe me and I got a zero for the assignment.
