Say i have to add a photo or put some excel chart on it . how do i do that?

well you wil need to speak to your IT team, and they will advise you, since it depends on how they setup it up.
you will proberly need a ftp client to upload, i use wsftp

well any FTP program will allow you to upload to the server but to put it on the page itself you would need to use the proper HTML coding. If you know the password and name to load it to your host server go ahead and upload it and then have whoever designed your page add it in to the HTML codes.
