3 feet per yard so the room is 8 yards long, 6 yards wide, and 3 yards high. You will have 2 walls that are 8x3=24....24x2=48
You will have 2 walls that are 6x3=18...18x2=36
48+36=84 square yards.

area of walls = 2 (l+b) h= 2(24+18)9= 2x42x9= 756 sq feet.
1 sq yard = 9 sq feet
756 sq feet = 756/9 = 84 sq yards

You just need the perimeter times the height:
p=2w+2l=2*18+2*24=84'=28yds
height=9'=3yds
28*3=84 sq yds.

24 ft = 8 yds
18 ft = 6 yds
9 ft = 3 yds

(assuming a rectangular room without doorways or windows)
Two walls are 8*3 = 24 sqyds, *2 = 48 sqyds
Two walls are 6*3 = 18 sqyds, *2 = 36 sqyds
Adding them 48 + 36 = 84 sqyds

84 sqyds
But I still don't think it doesn't have at least a doorway.
