i feel that this is a dangerous question by looking at the way we phrase the question: "how does one FIND enlightenment?" It's a good question but the wording confuses us into looking for soemthing that isn't there. we use the word "find" which makes us think that there is some tangible 'thing' out there that is enlightenment. . . . maybe some lifestyle, maybe some object (enough people think of money this way it seems, or even how many books they've read). But people like Wittgenstien tell us to look at meaning in use, to look at family resemblance, and to avoid bad questions. . . we can't find enlightenement. But we can gain awareness and use that to understand motives. try to think of enlightenemtn as knowledge, and knowledge comes with time, it's traveling the tunnel not what's at the end of it

By following Eight Fold path of Buddhists and believing in Four Noble truths.

By following Eight stage Yoga path of Hindus.
This is also known as "The Royal Path".

By following a very difficult and arduous path of Gnana Yoga of Hindus where one searches for what the reality is.

By following Action Yoga path (Karma Yoga) of Hindus as described in Bhagvat Geeta.

By following Devotional Yoga path of Hindus where one prays,
sings devotional songs, burns incense sticks, one devotes and surrenders to the God until he or she reaches God.

There are many other paths, but these are surely 100 % true paths towards ENLIGHTENMENT.

Following any one of the above paths will surely lead one towards
Enlightenment.

Read, read, read. Others will help guide us through what they have learned on their journeys. If it at all possible, remain open, teachable and willing to what you learn. Take what resonates with you and put it into practice in your life. The results are amazing.
