Yes, - I was in Zakopane a couple of years ago; beautiful spot, good skiing facilities, a bit on the expensive side compared to Polish standards, but well worth the trip.

I've been there like 10,000 times and enjoyed each of it. Go there any time (winter, fall, spring, summer) and it's always plenty to do over there. Disco, pubs, clubs, mountains, skiing, hiking, museums, shopping etc.

Yeah, go for it. Beautiful scenery, winter sports, good hotels and great fun. A quiet place to relax.

Yes. Its beautiful. It is definitely as nice as you have heard...its also not been spoilt by english stag parties yet, so now is the time to visit! ;)
