i am using a seimans 6520 router and i am trying to play ps2 online and its giving error port 3658 not open configur your firewall settings. but the 6520 does not have a firewall it was blocked out by my isp so i downloaded a nav program to let me see it and i opend port 3658 and it still will not work, i even turned off the firewall. i am stumped on this one...anyone got an answer?

Contact your isp and ask them to open the port.

The router has a built in firewall by default -- it may not be called "firewall" though. A lot of routers now just give a section to configure the ports. You may want to consider turning off NAT too for testing when you see it in the GUI.

Best fix: you have a reset button for both the modem and the router. Press it for 60 sec and then turn off everything including your computer, unplug everything, reset again, turn on by the sequence of modem-router-computer(make sure the firewall is turned off). Check whether it is working, if no, connect a different computer and check, if no, contact the tech support of game website. All the best.

You use router... together with a modem? as in 2 separate components?
If so, ensure that the ports are opened for both the routers, and the modem.
If yours is router *** modem (2-in-1) , then I have not clue also.

If your ISP is blocking that port, you're out of luck if you can't change the port.

go in the firewall settings and click on the firewall tab look for the access box then allow access by clicking on the zone and then clicking on allow
