Essay Topic?

Need to do an essay for a Labour Markets class and don't know which topic to choose. Don't want to do something everyone else is doing, and narrowed it down to: Age discrimination in the workplace, the glass ceiling of women earning less than men (might be popular), and the new ways of work (shorter work weeks, working from home, etc) what should I do? either choose from these or pick a new topic, catagory of labour is pretty open. thanks

What about an essay on the rise and fall of Labor unions. You can talk about their rise and developments in during the progressive movements and their demise and weakness in today's society.
