The Republicans are either oblivious to the lies that their dictator wannabe spews out of his drunken mouth, or they just wrap themselves up in the flag while really hating their fellow Americans, and don't think we deserve to hear the truth.

He tells them what they want to hear even though it's never the truth.

Of course, people like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson have put billions of ill-gotten, little old widow's dollars, into his greedy warmongering hands.

Gee - I wonder why he doesn't care about bin Laden anymore. Could it be that his best buddy is residing in the guest-of-honor suite on the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas?

Gee - Where are those weopons of mass destruction that he swore up and down and shoved down America's throat, on a daily basis, were being stockpiled in Iraq?

Do you think that the acronym GOP really stands for "Greedy Obese Pedaphiles?"

You are witnessing the Nazification of America!

Because it's easier to just buy what he's selling than it is to do research and think for oneself.

And for those of you ripping on the answerer who mentioned the Nazi's, here's a quote for you:

"Naturally, the common people don't want war, but they can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. Tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and endangering the country. It works the same in every country."

Wow, yet another Dumbass Democratic Liberal. Just like a parrot, you all just copy one another. Just because some Democratic leader says something does not mean it is true. I understand the need for different parties ( because man can't agree on everything ) but why do Democrats and Liberals Judge everyone like their view is totally wrong. I do not expect a Democratic Liberal ( who are mostly low income, unintelligent people ) to understand what a Republican President does. I am a Republican, and I do not agree with everything are government does. But I can in all honesty say this, if George W. Bush had not been elected again, this country would have had way more attacks on it than 911, because of the liberal people that would invite everyone and his mother to this country. This I know is true, you think that Iraq, and other situations are bad, Elect a Democrat and I guarantee that it will get a lot worse than it is now. When you have a government being overseen by a bunch of liberal pansy democrats things get much much worse!

Politicians in general do not seem to have the best interests of the American people at heart on either side of the political spectrum. However people like you are worse. You propose no positives, and you propose no solutions. Your whole mindset is based on hate. Because of this hate you are willing to spew ridiculous bile in an attempt to indict everyone who doesn't agree with you. There is a reason the republicans won and there is a reason why they keep winning. They do not intentionally alienate large cross sections of society. If the Democrats wish to truly regain power they have to learn this lesson. Get away from the all republican are evil mindset and start proposing commonsense solutions to what they see as the ills of society in the United States.

You know, being a Libertarian I'm no fan of Bush, the GOP,or Conservatives, and I don't play the Lesser-of-Two-Evils game, but viewing just the two major parties in isolation, I have to say that the Democrats have gone completely around the bend.

Look at your question. He didn't hammer WMD's in Iraq every day. It was mentioned maybe twice. There were many more reasons than that, reasons which were sufficient and not refuted.

Look at Foleygate. Hastert is being asked to resign over suggestive emails that someone else wrote, apparently having made a bad judgement call with less information than his judges have now. One of his judges is Nancy Pelosi, a staunch supporter of Gerry Studds, who didn't just write suggestive emails, he had sex with a male underage page and was censured for it, and rather than resign as Mark Foley did, turned his back on the censure. Now, it may be hypocritical for Republicans to talk about "family values" with a gay congressman in their midst, but for someone who is an enemy of the Boy Scouts because they don't allow gay scoutmasters to criticize Hastert for not protecting boys from gay adults is beyond the pale.

Democrats often use the word "nazi" to describe republicans, but deceptive propaganda was one of the hallmarks of nazism, and the Democrats are the ones that give false accounts of the 2000 elections, false accounts of the run-up to Iraq, false accounts of how the economy is doing, and false accounts of their own voting records ("I voted it for it before I voted against it" being the CLASSIC example).

Republicans are wrong on a lot of things, in my view, but at least they are honest about their positions.

I have no idea why anyone would support Democrats when their disdain for truth and consistency is so blatant.

What difference does it make? The US of A as we know it is on it's way out and nothing good is going to change for the AMERICAN people in this life time. Just like the Chinese Dynasty, Roman Empire, The British Empire just to name a few. History repeats itself and it's happening now. And everything you've mentioned is a part of why...

I think everybody needs to simmer down on the name calling.

Example:

Question: "Why don't we do something about the blatant misuse of power occurring in the White House?"

Answer: "Why don't you go back to Afghanistan you terror loving, pinko, doo-doo head!"

How can you people expect anyone to take you seriously when you don't even offer any valid points? It sound like I'm on the playground all over again.

woah, easy now. I'm a conservative, but I can't say that agree w/ everything Bush is doing. I just agree less w/ the liberals. I believe the right thing was done for the wrong reasons concerning the war. I really don't even consider Bush a real conservative. We'll have to dig through alot of **** to find the real truth. I'm thinking about voting for the constitutional party this time around myself....

This is the deal. Republicans and Democrats both lie their *** off. The Republicans say something about Democrats, and then the Democrats say something about the Republicans. The only proof both of these parties have is the he says, she says. Republicans are for individual freedoms and less controlling govt. But all i see is, more laws and less individual freedom. And the same goes to the Democrats. The only people that make it into office are rich famous white ppl. It's pathetic.
