woodwards book indicates rice lied about not being warn of attacks on USA the stae department says the meeting with cia heads took place RICE was warned of attacks on USA which eventuated in 9/11 which americans are so passionate about so -why is there no outrage at her knowing about posible atacks and doing nothing

Possibly because Woodwards book is designed to gain the maximum publicity and make the maximum amount of money irrespective of its relationship to the truth.

Try to understand that just because something is written down doesn't necessarily mean that it's true.

There is outrage, just no surprise. In 2004, she clearly told the 9/11 Commission that she was warned by a memo titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack inside the United States" : she decided at the time that the memo was a "historical document" despite it detailing recent evidence for the claim. Also, Richard Clarke's book addressed this issue previously. Lastly, our Senators are distracted by the midterm elections and are not acting in the best interest of the country, so the issue is not being adequately addressed. While Woodward's book is new, this particular news is not.

What? I should be outraged over an indication? In a book that may be a best seller.....earning profits for Bob Woodward? By the way, nothing new here....old, old news.

because we've been dealing with 9/11 for five years. New Yorkers(Including myself) just want to move on with their lives and stop blaming people for something the government fubared.

because they dont care whether america is attacked. they would only pretend they care so they could use it to thier advantage. they only care if israel is attacked to be honest...
