If any of you actually think that by going to war with every country that doesnt agree with us and isn't a democracy is gonna solve anything then the american people are more stupid than i ever imagined. Do any of you honestly think we are ever gonna get rid of terrorism. Seriously. You kill one and another is just gonna pop up. All the things we are doing now is just for show. As long as people roam this earth we are gonna have raping , killing, stealing, terrorism and the likes. It's unfortunatly human nature. And just another tought if any country that isnt a democracy is such a threat to us why not go take out China. Oh thats right cuz well get our asses wooped. We only pick on the small countries with pops of 30 mill or less. Cowards. I could go on all day but my point is that you better get used to it cuz nothing is gonna get any better, its just gonna get worse. People are a plauge to this earth and until people extinct themselves there will never be peace on earth. Sorry to bust yalls bubbles. enough already....

Well its not simply because of 9/11, that was a justification, not the reason.
And it was not because the greatest power on earth is standing up for democracy and liberty. Even though many like to think that you now have the freedom to ask stupid questions... theres not a lot else you have. Democracy in America largely means you can call someone a scumbag on Fox News and sue. Great freedom!
And no its not good enough to claim that the UN is not doing its job when the US holds back monies due because it doesn't like a policy or vetos events that would harm or question Israel's brutality which causes Arabs to die like lemmings in suicide bombings.(The UN needs to be democratic_NO VETOS to the founding club members!!)
And for the record educated democracies DO go to war with each other and the West has redrawn the Middle East and by that process has caused so much trouble.
Finally, it was Kissinger ( the man who authorized the bombing of Laos without declaring war-only winners choose the war criminals!) who wrote a book entitled "Does America need a foreign policy?"
The answer of course is NO. It just uses Israel's foreign policy. And that is the answer to your question, I think.

I mean no offense to others but I strongly believe It is because of Organized religion. Whether anyone is a firm believer in the bible or not one cannot deny that all that the world has bared witness to has been written in the “Scriptures”. For to long we have turned a blind eye to linking the two together but the US Government and Organized religions are one in the same. For the purpose of fear and control, power and domination. “One Nation Under God”. Igniting the fury through out the world is the intent and its purpose to use its own policies to bring peace through out the world, though there is never any true peace to be had but it will be the U.S that will declare it has done so, for world domination and power.

Selective memory seems to have become rather rampant.. For those not old enough to be aware of the world situation, warfare has been going on worldwide since the late 70's. All relative to land grabs being attempted by Muslims. If you aren't aware of the numerous countries under attack, then why are you making the statement presented here??? Genocide is rampant..

After WWII the USA promised to stop communism and tyrant leaders and help people around the world. So the USA is keeping a promise they made a long time ago. And if you wonder why they haven't done anything about China, is because slowly China is falling out of Communism. Thats all I know :D

We are a young country, and, like a young child, we're curious, rambunctious and uneducated as a culture. Many civilizations go through similar phases. Napolean thought that he'd conquer the world. So did Alexander the Great--and Hitler. What we're doing is a necessary part of "growing up" as a nation. Too bad it's taking so many deaths, trials and tribulations to get through it. It'd be nice if we could learn from the Great Thinkers--Jesus, Shakespeare, Bono, etc.--about human nature _before_ we go around disasterously repeating the messes we make. The United States of America is just _one_ country. Many people throughout the world feel just as strongly about their nation as we do about ours, no matter how powerful our military or GNP might be. We ought to get a clue and think of ourselves as players in a mighty, cosmic play rather than the director, the writer, the screenwriter, the actors--all of it. In my opinion, we're way out of bounds. It would behoove us to behave. But, we don't. Just like children, we will grow up. We'll understand our shortcomings--and our accomplishments, too. We'll look back with remorse--and with pride. Even President Bush Sr. called for a gentler America. I agree. What's up with war? Tit for tat and everyone ends up dead--what good is that? Let's talk to our brother and sister nations. Most of all, we need a strong, Federal-like, world governing body. Take care.

When Bush the elder was in office, he rolled out the phrase " New World Order". And now were seeing the attempts of this. Its all about world domination, the B.S. about wanting to spread democracy is a smoke screen in my opinion. I don't think Bush gives a rat's a-s-s if democracy is ever established in the Middle East.

Um, the US didn't "ignite" any fury... all the arabs already hated each other and us. Why is the US fighting wars? So the "fury" of the Muslims isn't directed at us again.
