Go to a Ford dealership and have it installed properly. May cost a bit more money but pretty sure in the long run will be the best decision.

Disc brake service is fairly simple.

Block the wheels to keep the car from moving.
Set the emergency brake.
If standard put in 2nd gear, if Auto put in park.
Jack up one side of the front.
Place jack stands under vehicle.
Remove tire/wheel.
Get a small piece of room or a clothes hanger handy.
The brake calipers are held on by two bolts or possible a sliding clip. Remove these.
The caliper should now slide backwards away from the center of the hub.
Use the rope/hanger to suspend the caliper to prevent damage to the brake line.
Replace the parts that are broken.
Assembly is the reverse of the removal proceedure.

When the calipers are off.. they tend to extend out and therefore when you go to put them back on they won't fit. To remedy this, put a brake pad in place on the caliper against the cylinder. Use a large 'C' clamp to slowly squeeze the caliper cyliner back. Remove the 'C' clamp and put the calipers back on.

Good luck and I hope this helps!
