I have some of the same issues. For me the more water I drink the better. Take your weight divide it by two then the number you come up with, drink that many ounces a day. For example I'm 120 so I drink 60 ounces of water a day. If you really hate water do tea, but avoid artificial sweeteners, or anything that isn't a natural ingredient because your body won't get as much liquid out of it if it's processing all of the extra ingredients. It sucks at first, but then after a couple days to a week you'll get used to it. Also look for foods high in fiber. All Bran products are actually quite tasty, Activia yogurt helps your digestive system, and pears are really high in fiber. Also if you go to any pharmacy, or even Walmart you can get Acidophiles, a natural enzyme that really helps my stomach, it certainly wouldn't hurt to try it. Try to eat more all natural foods. Hope these help!

Drink the orange metamucil. My mom does and likes it. They also have chocolate and with milk it is great but has even less fiber. Eat all the fruits and veggies you can and drink lots. A lot of constipation is because people don't drink enough. No matter how many beans you eat, you need the water to flush you out.

Plenty of fruit and veg, Fibre - Baked beans are good. Also try a gentle laxative. Senna's usually quite good, syrup of Figs also does the job doesn't taste very nice mind you. You can also ask your GP if there's any other medication you can take that wont cause you constipation.

Drink lots of water in the morning as the body is best prepared at that time to expel waste.

I drink 2 pints of water when I wake up immediately followed by a hot cup of tea.

The water has to be drunk without a break, then it doesnt go into the kidneys but lubricates the colon.

The tea allows the colon to start functioning and as it already has water filling it.....

be ready to dash to the toilet.

Firstly make sure that you drink plenty of water to keep your bowel hydrated. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables would also be good for you. Other things you might try are reflexology treatments or if you don't fancy that, simply try massaging your tummy in a clockwise direction for about 10 mins twice a day - this action helps the bodies natural action of peristalsis (muscular movement of the intestines/bowels), which can help to regulate and stimulate bowel movement.

Have a couple of black coffees and a fresh orange juice. That should do the trick. Chances are there's a big prune blockage up there!

I used to be a milkman, if I drank the fresh orange that comes in a glass pint bottle. Within minutes I would have to divert to the old peoples home to use the loo there, it was that instant

take two tablespoons of mineral oil( in your local walgreens) per day -it is flavorless and was recommended by MD, or take two tablespoons of tahitian noni juice- works wonders and has other heatlth benefits as well, but it is pricey and the mineral oil is a couple of bucks and it works well without giving you gas. They are both all natural too.
