Tape them to the side of your head and see how they look.

Pinning seems an extreme step to take, your ears really don't look that noticeable. Do you know if your ear shape will change when you get older? Maybe a different hairstyle might make you feel better? For the moment at least i would definitely say no to surgery, although i know this is easy for me to say.

It completely depends on how comfortable you are with your ears as they are. Its important to know that although they may feel prominent to you, it probably doesn't cross anyones mind when they meet you, the eyes are drawn to the face, not the ears.

If you really do feel self-conscious to the point where its on your mind constantly when you go out or talk to people, you may want to get them pinned back. Remember that if you do it, it should be for you and not because you feel pressured by other people.

if u want to.. but just to warn u... ive seen people who've had that done and some of tham can look SO weird... at least if theyre just pinned at the top anyway... than the bottom will stick out! and that would make them look really freaky... what percedure i think u SHOULD get done it ear reshaping... they fix ur ears the way u want them like they do for a nose job... that would be they best thing to have done, and you can show them a picture of how you want your ears befor its done... you'd get it done by a cosmetic surgeon. hope this answer helps!

you are so sweet. i think if you have posted on yahoo you must be seriously considering it. if it is bothering you then you should get it done. it seem relatively painless and quite a fast procedure. it would probably be a real confidence booster, but if you can get by without doing it then leave it. i found two websites with information that might help you make a decision.

all the best with your choice.

this has really good information: http://www.dh.gov.uk/PolicyAndGuidance/HealthAndSocialCareTopics/CosmeticSurgery/CosmeticProcedureArticle/fs/en?CONTENT_ID=4121419&chk=gAKsgp

Well Tom you were born the way you are , your ears cant look that bad, why would you want to put yourself down that way. Be happy with the way you are and if people don't like the way you look then that's there problem.Be happy.

Depends how much they stick out and how uncomfotable you are with them, if you have the micky taken out of you alot it might be worth thinking about.

Save the money and invest in spelling lessons, you will not suffer through your looks, but not knowing how to spell 'pinned' might cost you more dearly, ;->
