Yes I am very happy they lost because I have been a Yankee hater since Oct 1960. I am a big Pirate Fan and the Manager
of Detroit and I think 4 of his coaches were ex-Pirates. Jim Leyland should get Manager of the Year. I'm looking for a Mets
vs Tigers World Series.

Twins have to win 2 more WS to offset the 4 Super Bowl losses by the Vikings.

Of course! Death to the evil empire! I'll never get tired of them spending the Gross National Product of all of South America combined on salary each year and blundering out of the playoffs on an early exit. Its been a nice tradition these last several years.

I was not just happy, I was ecstatic! It makes it a mini series again and now they are in Detroit with Kenny Rogers who has something to prove. I hope the Tigs can do it! What happened to the Twins though? Yikes!
GO TIGERS!

Im not a fan of either team (yanks or tigers) but yes Im glad they lost 'cuz maybe now them yankee fans can come back to reality & realize that their team can lose, that they werent going to go through the playoffs undefeated. . . . most yankee fans were thinking sweep!!!! surprise, surprise!!!!

And I will repeat my answer:
THIS IS A 5 GAME SERIES! ONE GAME DOES NOT MAKE A LOSER OF ANYONE!
I am glad The Tigers won, yes.
But I also realize that in a best of 5 series the winning team must WIN 3 GAMES TO GO ON!
Regardless of you are a Tiger fan or not, please dont jump the gun yet.
It;s not good to get all cocky and arrogant when the series is NOT over!
So, relax and enjoy the rest of the series.

i'm neutral... i knew we wouldn't go the whole way undefeated. it is, as some people have said, a wake-up call. a-rod has to step the **** up already and start producing, and sheffield and cano will surely break out soon enough. when that happens, we should be good to go.
