I don't think ER looks like Grey's at all.
I'm glad they don't have opening credits. Get right to the show...that's what I like. ER is a great show and I think it just keeps getting better.

I think the question is: "Why does the new opening for ER look just like the opening for Grey's Anatomy?"

I can see why they'd go with this approach, as their cast is getting unwieldily large, and they probably can't fit all the names into the old opening - which, by the way, is OLD - what is this, season 12? What was cutting-edge in the mid-90's is starting to look dated, and "dated" is never good where there's competition for ratings, especially for a show in which the advance of medical technology plays an important part.

because ER is rubbish and annoying enough without having to listen to the silly music as well

I do not know why they did that . But I really dont like the show as well as I used to . things have changed too much on it.
