I'm hispanic american 26 years old. Born in usa, raised with spanish beause parents are mexican and i never assimilated to american culture, i mean i am kind of,,,, but i don't really fit in because i'm very different, and i'm strange and quiet and i don't do anything of what typical NORMAL americans do. Moreover i was shy since 5 years old and still am so i don't have friends, don't talk much and i'm just a boring person with no life.

ok so , these days i met some foreign students in usa from asia. I like helping them or talking to them because i studied foreign language and i'm interested in different cultures. Problem is, when i have to teach english or teach them about american culture I really can't cause i don't even have much experience doing anything american. Moreover, i don't even know mexican culture either and i'm not good at spanish. ...... So, i feel i'm not qualified to help nobody.. I feel i'm worthless compared to real mexicans or americans

American culture is multiethnic. With the ever growing Latino population, there is a major influence on mainstream American culture.

Be yourself and that's all there is to it. Asian students can learn about latino culture in America just like they can learn about black culture in America.
