We don't care. Give us an SUV, a Big Mac, and the opportunity to run up some debt, then tell us you are going to make us feel all safe and secure and you can do anything you want.

True understanding of freedom has been completely forgotten in America.

You need to remember that the majority of politicians are lawyers. They write laws to protect what they want us to perceive as our best interest and in reality they are to protect themselves from litigation and to absolve themselves of any resposibility. They negotiate deals that enrich their pockets with monies from all over the world. If you can ever find a politician who is honest enough to say he/she cares about our America with no regard for his/her own political future, build them a church because you will have a new god to worship.
