I need a study on the reactions professors have on dealing with their student's rejection.?

I'm doing a court case for a club and was needing some basis for a line of questioning concerning how a professor testifying against my client is only doing so to get back at her for rejecting his advances. Any websites, testimony, or Psychological studies on the topics would be greatly appriciated.
